MEASURES IMPLEMENTED BY ZENITH HOTEL’S MANAGEMENT

Zenith’s management team adopts a responsable and pro-active attitude, constituting an action group with clear tasks to ensure optimal sanitary conditions for guests and employees.

1. Action plan

A wide and complex set of internal rules and procedures had been implemented, while also respecting the rules in force established by central and local public health authorities, in order to prevent infection among guests and employees, to comply with new rules of hygiene, cleaning and disinfection, cleaning of rooms and common spaces.

2. Mobilisation and resources

The hotel management team allocated significant additional financial resources to ensure that the new health safety criteria were met and aimed to ensure that the implementation of the new procedures was fully and efficiently implemented. They will be constantly updated in the light of new rules issued by the competent authorities.

For the safety of hotel guests, management applies the following main measures in relation to the staff employed (summary from the Internal Sanitary Security Regulation):

ü  measuring the temperature of employees at the time of arrival on the programme. Employees whose temperature exceeds 37,3⁰ C or have other symptoms associated with this virus will be prohibited from accessing the workplace;

ü  placement in all working spaces with solution dispensers for hand sanitizers;

ü  equipping each department within the hotel unit with personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, glasses, jumpsuit, disposable robes) and hygiene solutions specific to each job;

ü  proper training of staff who interact directly with guests (receptionists, waiters, bartenders, cooks, barman, maids, masseurs, technicians, security guards) on compliance with the rules of personal hygiene and physical distancing; compliance with the rules on workplace hygiene;

3. Monitoring

The Action Group shall constantly monitor the rules compliance and procedures by both employees and guests and shall continuously evaluate the measures effectiveness taken in order to identify the taken measures correctly or insufficiently and the application of corrective measures where necessary. This summary is used to improve the actions and procedures implemented. It also follows how guests comply with the mandatory rules set out in this Regulation. The constant ignorance or consciounsly repeated violation of these rules and conduct specified in this internal security regulation and the generally valid ones specified by the authorities, may cause the hotel management to refer to the local health authorities regarding the attitude of guests who do not comply and who endanger other guests and the hotel employees.
